Here’s how to keep the laundry tidy and keep this room in perfect working order, without stress.
Our daily routine often does not allow us to take care of basic things like keeping the house tidy; in fact, we often forget to take care of ourselves, especially in rooms with less use. With this article we give you 5 tips for keeping your laundry tidy.
What happens when we don’t keep the rooms tidy? This causes discomfort, discomfort, agitation, feeling of dirt and little tranquility in us. After all, disorder is nothing more than anxiety and discontent.
The organization of the house is therefore fundamental. The living room and bedroom are the rooms we spend the most time on, but what about the smaller rooms? It’s worth learning how to keep your laundry tidy as well.
How to keep your laundry tidy
1. Before putting the laundry in order, assess the situation
Having a laundry room is a real luxury. Many people are forced to put the washing machine on the terrace or in the kitchen, iron in the bedroom and store detergents under the sink or in a closet. If you have this luxury, don’t waste it!
At first you need to be self-critical and ask yourself if the laundry is well organized, if it is clean, what is its usefulness, if you are using it as a closet, and so on.
It is therefore essential to assess the situation, have a clear idea of all the elements and materials present and wonder what you want to get from that space.

2. Order using a cabinet
Once you have assessed the situation and established the use of your laundry, it is time to order it with a simple and rational method:
Select a closet that is the pivot of the room and use it to put away objects and tools. The cabinet must become the first ally of the order.
You can place wicker baskets on top of the closet as containers to store other objects, especially the smallest ones, so as to prevent them from being dispersed.
Drawers and cabinets can be used to store tools and cleaning products. The idea is that not everything is in sight.
3. Arrangement of the washer and dryer
Both appliances have an important presence in the room. Of course they will take up a lot of space, so it’s a good idea to follow these recommendations:
Arrange them so that you can move around and use them comfortably. Too many elements around these appliances will cause a sense of oppression.
If they can be placed in a closet, it’s much better. If this is not possible, it is important that they are placed in an easily accessible area, both for convenience and in case they need to be repaired.
They should be located in such a way that they do not obstruct transit through the room and that their doors can be opened. In this way, they will be more functional and useful.
4. Order of products
Objects such as bottles of bleach, glass cleaner, rag, broom and dustpan are all elements that, if not neatly arranged, can generate a rather annoying organizational chaos. What can be done about this?
On the one hand, organise and distribute products by type. In the closet drawers you can place cleaning cloths and other rags, as well as other tools such as scissors, screwdrivers, pliers, etc..
Reserve a corner for the mop and its container. All you need is a corner that is easy to access and allows you to move around and access it easily.
On the part you can place a hanger or a series of hooks to place broom, shovel or any other tool. This way you can easily retrieve them as soon as you need them.
Place the cleaning bottles (detergent, bleach, softener, ammonia…) in the closet. It is preferable that they are not in sight.
5.Maintain a constant cleanliness
No doubt there is no organization and order if there is no cleanliness. It may not necessarily be daily, but it must still be periodic. Being constant in cleaning is synonymous with well-being.
We tend to spend more time cleaning rooms such as the living room, bathroom or bedroom, but do not forget that the laundry is closely related to personal hygiene.
Therefore, maintain regular cleaning habits, so as to maintain order for a long time and not generate unnecessary dirt.
